Helen Carter was appointed CEO of Thorndale Foundation on 3 December 2007. Helen's background includes senior executive roles in environment, tertiary education, aged care and dementia services. Helen has formal qualifications in social sciences, art therapy and business administration. She is passionate about supporting people to achieve their chosen goals and dreams, no matter what physical or intellectual challenges they may face. She married Stephen Philip in 1978 and they share a love of music, art, nature, good food, friends and laughter. They have two cats and two dogs and live in the beautiful Blue Mountains west of Sydney. |
